Aloe
Aloe Vera, Starry Night Aloe and Tiger tooth or Tiger Tooth Aloe

There are well over 500 different types of aloe in the world, we offer three different types at Giererbees. Aloes like limited full sun, about six hours a day, their fleshy leaves can be sun burned.
Aloe Vera is the quintessential Aloe with its graceful long fleshy leaves.
Starry Night Aloe is a hybrid that also has fleshy leaves but they are more compact and grows in low clusters
Tiger Tooth Aloe are known for its sharp spike leaves it grows in tight clusters and can reach 12 inches in height
Jades/Crassula
Silver Jade, Friendship Tree, Hobbit, Tricolor
Prices vary depending on size/age of plant and planter style
Jades have many different plant/leaf styles and colorings and make great gifts. Giererbees offers four different styles of Jades. Jades like full sun but benefit from some shade in the hot summer months.
Silver Jade can be grown into a tree like shrub.
Friendship Tree has a quiet charm with its flat oval leaves that are frequently rimmed in red.
Hobbit Jade has curious tubelike leaves, this plant is a good candidate for small spaces.
Tricolor Jade has stunning flat leaves colored in pink, green and white.

Kalanchoe
Flapjacks

Kalanchoe like bright indirect light and are fast growers.
The Flapjack produces a stemless rosette of paddle shaped foliage, the leaves range in color from a gray-green to a dark red. All parts of this plant are poisonous if eaten.

Sedum

Stonecrop sedums are a very popular and forgiving succulent that can tolerate loads of sun, they make great patio plants. The coppertone sedum pictured here turn red in the sun.
Cacti
Optunia Microdasys “Bunny ears”, Optunia Monacantha “Prickly pear”, Ferocactus “Barrel cactus”

These cacti offer depth and prickly danger to your succulent collection. They can tolerate lots of sun and are forgiving of the occasional forgotten watering.
The bunny ears have white glochids that give them a polka-dot appearance and are fast growers.
The prickly pear appreciates full sun and is a fast grower.
The Barrel cactus is a slow grower that loves full sun.
All of these should be handled with care as the thorns or glochids are painful and can be difficult to remove from your skin.
Echeveria
Black Prince Echeveria, Echeveria Harmsii
Prices vary depending on age/size of plant and planter style
These plants offer a bounty of color to add to your succulent collection
Black Prince Echeveria likes lots of sun light and will reward you with beautiful leaves of green to burgundy to black.
Echeveria Harmsii likes lots of light but prefers to avoid strong afternoon light and will enchant you with its fuzzy green leaves and burnt orange blooms.
Bulbous
Leopard or Silver Squill, Ponytail Palm
Our bulbous options are a delightful, showy and easy to grow.
Leopard Squill like partial sun and are poisonous if eaten
Ponytail palms like full sun or partial sun, they thrive in dry enviroments
Tradescantia Zebrina
Inch Plant-green and white, purple and green, miniature
Prices vary depending on plant size/age and style of planter
The Inch Plant can bring out the green thumb in anyone! Give your inch plant indirect light and lots of water.
Haworthia
Haworthia Cooperi and Haworthia Zebra
Prices vary depending on size/age of plant and style of planter
The Cooperi is a hardy succulent with translucent looking leaves.
The Zebra is easy to grow and tolerates low to indirect light. It gets it’s name from the white ridges on its outer leaves.

African Violets
Prices vary depending on size/age of plant and planter style
African violets have beautiful dark green fuzzy leaves and come in a variety of colors. They like lots of bright indirect light, keep them about 2-3 feet away from a window.
Up-cycled Containers
Giererbees loves using up-cycled containers for our plants shoes, bowls, mugs, toys even hats. Anything that holds dirt and doesn’t move is a potential planter. All of our planters have drainage holes and we use succulent soil and a long acting fertilizer in every container.
